As everyone knows the Oktoberfest in Munich (also called ‘Wiesn’) is the biggest one of the world, with visitors not only from Europe but also from the U.S., Australia, China and many more. Wearing a ‘Dirndl’ or ‘Lederhosen’ is nearly a must have, to get the whole experience of the Oktoberfest and the Bavarian culture. The beer there is only severed in so called ‘Maß’ which is one liter and the waitress there can carry a lot of them at once, which is not easy as already one is kind of heavy as you will experience yourself. We’re going there together by bus and have reserved tables for a specific time frame and afterwards you are free to walk around, try out the amusement rides, buy souvenirs or try out traditional food as the ‘Steckerlfisch’ and many others. It is an experience which you shouldn’t miss on your exchange semester. There is nothing left to say as ‘Oans, zwoa, gsuffa!’
